How can I apply for the Perio Link ™ Award 2025?

The applications to The Perio Link Awardare now closed. To apply, you must have published a research paper on the link between oral health and general health between January 1st, 2021, and December 31st, 2023. Submit a 1-minute video in English explaining the key findings of your research and how they contribute to this field to the corporate.communications@sunstar.com email.

What should be included in the application video?

Your video should cove your research objectives, a brief outline of your findings, and the relevance of your research to both oral and general health.

What are the deadlines to apply for the Perio Link ™ Award2025?

How does the voting process work?

All eligible videos will be published on the Sunstar Oral Health YouTube channel on November 1^st, 2024. Public voting will be open from November 1st, 2024, until January 15th, 2025. The video with the most public votes will be the winner.

Is there a jury for selecting the winner?

No, the videos are not judged by a jury. The winner is chosen solely by public voting on Sunstar’s YouTube channel.

What prizes are awarded to the winner?

The winner will receive a trip to EuroPerio11 in Vienna in May 2025, where they will be recognized in a ceremony. The trip will include round-trip airfare, hotel accommodation, and congress registration.

What’s the best way to make my video stand out?

Are there additional requirements for participants?

Yes, participants must clearly declare any sources of funding, and research funded by commercial organizations will undergo conflict of interest screening by the Sunstar Foundation.
